4a Molecular Sieve has 4Å aperture,it can absorb water,methanol,ethanol,hydrogen sulfide,sulfur dioxide,carbon dioxide,ethylene,propylene,don’t absorb any molecules(including propane) whose aperture more than 4Å.4A Molecular Sieve has higher performance of water adsorption capability than any other molecular sieve.It is one of Molecular Sieves varieties which has the largest dosage.

4A molecular sieve can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes; or by lowering the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes.
To remove moisture from 4A molecular sieve, a temperature of 200-230°C is required. A properly regenerated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -100°C.
